Welcome to Travos AB!

Our task is to help young adults, students, the long-term unemployed and newcomers to leave unemployment behind and quickly establish themselves on the job market.

The aim of our organisation is to take part as an actor in the globalized changes regarding  knowledge and competences in Sweden, by tapping into each individual´s unique abilities and scope!

We work closely with the Employment Office, companies, charities and other Local Authorities in order to help our participants to integrate in Sweden, as well as to quickly establish themselves on the job market.

Our philosophy is to always consider and reconsider, so that we know that we create added value for our clients.

We always strive to  be as efficient as possible; economically, with people´s time and to give good quality in our work.

Support and Matching

 

Support and matching is a service for you who are in need of one-to-one help at finding a job. The support comes in the form of the  tools to help in the search and help with making contact with employers.

We offer you the following:

- Mapping out participant´s skills, competences, prerequisites and professions

- Help with finding and applying for jobs

- Support in writing a C.V. and accompanying letter

- Following up jobs applied for

- Contact with employers

- Introductions between the unemployed person and the employer who is in need of staff

- Mentorship

- Workplace-based activities

- Practice interviews and preparation before the interview

- Advice related to studying or working (an obligatory activity)

- Information about courses and help with applying for them

- Motivating talks

- Group activities

- Field trips

- Seminars

- Computer lessons

- Language lessons

- Short courses

Who can receive support from a Job expert?

- Youngsters between 18 and 24 who don´t have a job or training.

- People who receive economic support.

- People who live in Nacka or Sollentuna who lack certain competences who are out of work.

- Nacka dwellers who have problems with the Swedish language who are out of work

- Newly-arrived immigrants who are included in the integration laws  and have a right to the integration services with the Office of Employment.

- People who, after 2 years, still have problems with the language and are jobless.

- Dependant immigrants who are not included in the integration law.

If you are unemployed and registered in Sollentuna, you can drop-in and visit the Offices of Opportunities on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 13.00 and 15.30.

 

The Offices of Opportunities work with people from 16 years and over who are unemployed and who need help with managing on their own. Before choosing a coach/mentor, we will first assist you in mapping out your need and decide which avenue suits you best to pursue.

If The Offices of Opportunities deem you eligible for a coach/mentor, you are welcome to choose us.

The course plan should permeate the following:

A. United Nation´s conventions on human rights.

B. The child perspective

C. The diversity perspective

D. The course should be run so that even people with mental, neuropsychiatric and physical disabilities as well as migration-related health problems can take part in the same way.

Length of the service

The course takes 69 hours. A Guide to Sweden can be combined with work, study and other activities in order to accelerate integration into working life. We offer courses in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and week-ends according to the sessions listed below:

 

A Guide to Sweden lessons are held 3 days per week, 4 hours per day for 6 weeks - during which we can even incorporate another part of the course “knowledge of Nacka”.

 

A

A Guide to Sweden is a course for you who are newcomers to Sweden and to the Swedish job market. The course contains different parts that strengthen your competence in Swedish society.
